Unseelie Summoner

The Unseelie Sidhe have expanded their resentment of their Seelie cousins to humanity, particularly when the Empires of Steam rose after the Day of the Burning Sky. They are opposed to all of the technological advancements, pollution and expansion of mankind, and have waged a low-level war of attrition and sabotage against human communities for several hundred years.
One of the most feared among the Unseelie are their summoners, who open gates to Otherworld to call forth other evil faeries and elementals to hound the outlying human communities. Paradoxically, once the Unseelie were expelled from the Emerald Groves by the Seelie Court, they took to living in the ruins of human civilizations that fell after the Day of the Burning Sky, where they desecrate the tombs and graves of human kings and warriors long past, and raise their tormented souls to a state of undeath to further plague humanity.
Like all Sidhe, the Unseelie are vulnerable to pure iron, which disrupts their magical essence and weakens their anchor to this world. Weapons made of Sky Iron, iron forged from meteorites, will cause most Unseelie to back down or flee simply by being unsheathed in their presence.
It is believed that the Imperium, the world-spanning human empire that existed before the great catastrophe struck, once had a means of enslaving fairies, particularly the Unseelie, through the use of Sky Iron manacles and shackles, and this may partly explain their disdain for humanity.
