Revenant Interceptors

The Imperial Consortium's Revenant Interceptor was designed to counter the speed and manueverability of the human Crossbow and to protect fleet assets from the Terran Protectorate Stellar Navy strike fighters and bombers. It is fast, nimble and well-armed against other fighters and bombers with two tri-barrel beam cannons and a pair of 160mm Gauss Cannons that fire armor piercing depleted uranium flechettes. It is an excellent dogfighter and can devastate soft targets like transports and supply vessels and be gone before the enemy has a chance to respond. However, it's armor is thin to keep it's mass low, and it has no missiles with which to threaten heavily armored capital ships.
Perhaps its tactically most devastating feature, however, is its low cost and ease of use, which has allowed the Consortium to quickly field thousands of them.
