Making an entrance

The Close Combat Specialist and mercenary-turned-Starfarer named Katarn was born with the ability to warp space to small degrees after his mother's exposure to an alien artifact before he was born. The most common ways this manifests are through his ability to create "doorways" or portals, temporary holes through solid objects and via his extraordinary speed. Once he joined the Starfarers, however, he was able to unlock a vast array of powers that manipulate local time and space.
