John Henry Utility Transport

Description

The John Henry-Class Utility Transport is an all-purpose workhorse often used by space stations and shipping companies. It functions as a tug, search-and-rescue vessel, deep space or orbital construction ship and courier.
It is equipped with powerful electromagnetic grapplers, high output engines, and extendable magnetic shields that it can wrap around disabled vessels to protect the crew from radiation and micrometeorite damage.
It is a space-only vessel and cannot operate in atmosphere.
It is very lightly armed, but in most cases pirates will not bother them, as they virtually never carry anything of value. This has led to some couriers and smugglers purchasing the John Henry and modifying them to take advantage of the fact that nobody ever pays them any attention. But their inability to land dirtside limits their popularity for those kinds of uses.
They do have FTL drives, however, and shipping companies and mercenaries often use them as fleet tenders to assist ships in a convoy that get into trouble.

I like the name, the ship itself is pretty roughly designed though - it's very obvious that it's a polygonal form, the panel lines don't match up at all with a way to logically build that craft, and the surface is simply too much space for nothing notable going on with it (why are those wings SO HUGE if you're not using that space?).

The biggest problem at all I think is that there's no sense of scale - nothing is going on at all on the surface. Take a look at this guy's spacecraft for some modeling tricks;
