I.C. Dree'Dok Heavy Cruiser

Very few vessels have caused as much dread, or bloodshed, as the Imperial Consortium Dree'Dok class Heavy Cruiser, which humans refer to as the Consortium Battle Wagon. These were the ships of the line during the first Protectorate-I.C. War, and for the first two years of the conflict, not one Dree'Dok fell to enemy action. It was not until humans began to rely on fighters that the Dree'Dok compliment of the IC fleet began to see losses, due to their lack of point defense weaponry. Even then, the fighters had to fly to point-blank range to unleash their payload, because not only were these massive ships heavily armed and armored, but they had the most sophisticated electrocountermeasures we had ever encountered unless you got within a 1-mile bubble...an outrageously close distance considering the range at which most space battles are fought. The Dree'Dok are still a backbone of the I.C. fleet, but later versions have upgraded point defenses, are accompanied by fighter screening vessels and often carry fighters themselves, making them once again one of the more dangerous predators in space.
