Banner of the Terran Protectorate

The banner, or standard, of the Terran Protectorate consists of a star-covered metal shield on a blue field with a red slash. The blue represents freedom and democracy, the red slash represents the bravery and blood of the protectorate's defenders and the shield of stars represents that Protectorate pact to protect the colonies of humanity throughout known space.

It is typically displayed as a hanging banner moreso than as a flag. Often, in the military, the shield of stars is used alone to represent the Terran Protectorate Stellar Navy and the Colonial Marine Corps.
